My10 Favorite Vacations

1.  Disney World - January 2008.  I have always wanted to go back with my parents and my family.  We had such an amazing time.  THis was the PERFECT age for Stewart to go.  He had the best time ever.  He still talks about it.  Highlights:  the Marathon, losing our luggage, the Stitch Ride, crappy food with gourmet prices, being able to say I did Disney World 6 months pregnant.

2.  Key West - November 2002.  Bill and I got married on the beach.  What's not to love about that. Highlights: the amazing day we spent at the beach before our sunset ceremony, the boat trip to the Dry Tortugas, after wedding dinner at the Commodore in full wedding attire.

3.  Virginia Beach - Every year for Labor Day weekend.  It's a Bondurant Family tradition. Highlights: the BEACH!, Stewart finding a new cute little girl to play with in the sand, the aquarium, stocking up on sandwich meat, potato salad, macaroni salad, and chips at the grocery store.

4.  Hawk's Cay - June 2007.  A surprise trip for Bill.  We went right after he had a long business trip in India.  We took Stewart to OKC to see my parents and we took a nice vacation alone.  I   think Parker is a product of this vacation!  Stewart had soo much fun with my parents.   Anytime Bill and I can get away to the Keys is always a great time!  Highlights: the drunk iguanas, the sunset sail, snorkeling (even though we saw a ton of waterspouts and I got sea sick), the spa!, Bill and I got matching tatoos (we got soulmate tatooed on our neck in Korean.)

5.  South Beach/Key Largo/Key West - February 2002.  Bill booked this trip for us when he got back from a month in India.  Highlights: He proposed on this trip.  We both fell in love with the Keys, the convertible/driving down highway 1, the big wooden bar where the drunk guy fell down, kayaking for the first time (and BILL hit the manatee, not me!)

6.  New York City - October 2007.  Carla and I had an AWESOME time.  Highlights: We saw my first Broadway show, Wicked.  We shopped!  We stayed at an AWESOME hotel!  The Monstrous lemon meringue pie from the diner - it should have been called meringue pie with a touch of lemon, the UN tour.

7.  Bahamas - May 2007.  Holly and I took an awesome girls' trip for my birthday.  Even though the weather didn't exactly cooperate we had a great time.  Highlights: I played roulette for the first time, we went to the spa, the Atlantis is an amazing hotel.

8.  Puerto Vallarta - July 2002.  This was my first trip out of the country, even though it was to Mexico.  It was a fun trip with friends and Bill and I had the best time drinking cold beer, and relaxing on the beach.  We spent one night at a cute little bed and Breakfast, Hotel Corazon.  Highlights: beating bill at chess at the airport in mexico (the ONLY time i ever won), the semi-outdoor shower at Hotel Corazon, We ate lunch at Blue Chairs, "the finest in gay cuisine,"  our side trip to some little town where I had the BEST FAJITAS i've ever had and they were only $6, the resort had an incredible POOL.

9.  Disney World - a long time ago!  I don't remember when we went, but my parents took us and it was by far my most favorite childhood trip ever. I've always wanted to go back with my brother and sisters and their families but going in January with my parents was super fun too (probably less hectic.)  THis was the same trip when we went to Quantico for a week, and I remember saying to myself that i liked Virginia and i thought i could live there.  Highlights: DISNEY WORLD!, i have really great memories of riding the roller coasters with my brother, the big mall in Woodbridge, we stopped at Myrtle beach on the way down to disney.)

10.  Myrtle Beach - July 2006?  I can't remember what year we went.  We went with my parents.  We had a great time.  Stewart loved Medieval times and the beach, and the putt putt.  Anytime Stewart gets to spend some time with my parents is always good.   Highlights:  the little shopping place we found, the putt putt at this shopping place, i bought my very first pair of Crocs here (it was a necessity, i was getting all blistered up from my shoes!) the beach, medieval times, golf with my parents and Stewart, "TRACEY!  Put that TURTLE DOWN!"
