I know you are curious

You have probably heard me complain a lot about my "simulated wet lab" for my Anatomy and Physiology class.  And I'm sure MANY of you are wondering what the heck a "simulated wet lab" is and could possibly look like/work.  Well here you go:  This is a screen shot of my lab for Endocrine System Physiology.

So far (I'm only through Activity 4) you take the rats and I'm testing to see how the hormones (in the syringes in the upper left hand corner) affect their metabolism.  One of the rats is normal, the other two have hormone imbalances.  And I have 25 questions I need to answer about the results of the experiement in the lab report.

Looks like fun huh!  There are 11 others - that are just as SUPER FUN as this one!!!!

Look at me! i sound like I know what i'm talking about:
"The propylthiuracil did not significantly effect the thyrodectomized rat’s metabolic rate. This is seen because in a thyrodectomized rat, there is no thyroxine production to inhibit."
