I am wondering if "my eyes got bigger than my stomach."  (I think that's how my dad's old saying goes. . .)  Anyway, my TWO literature classes started today.  One is a 16-week course on English Literature: 18th Century to the Present.  The other class is an 8-week course on Women Writers.  I knew there was going to be a lot of reading involved so I tried to get ahead in my Anatomy home work.  Anyway - the point is, i got the syllabi (thanks Holly) this morning and HOLY CRAP IT'S A LOT OF READING.  For example, this week for the English literature class, I need to read 19 works, and write up a 2 page journal response.  The Women Writers class has EIGHTY pages of reading due and another 2 page journal response.  (Did you get the part where i said EIGHTY PAGES for one class!?)  PLUS I still need to do my Anatomy assignment and the lab.  I need to just finish up my anatomy assignments so I can concentrate on all of the reading I need to do. 

Looks like I am going to be turning off the tv early and reading myself to sleep.
